Dr. Seuss fish
Students will be using line to draw their own Dr. Seuss Fish.
Start with this video.
Start with a Rainbow
as big as your fist.
Then a swoop for a nose
as big as you wish.
A smile, a belly
some big fins too.
Make it your own,
it's up to you.
A big fancy tail,
so shiny and new.
Don't forget it's eye
looking right at you.
Now paint it all pretty
and cut it out too.
Ready to place him
on stripes with some glue.
You can listen to the book in this video!

The Cat in the Hat
Students will use line and shape to draw The Cat in the Hat for Dr. Seuss' Birthday.
Listen to the book in this video!
Start with the video below!
Have Fun!!
Start with the ear
But keep it down low
'Cause the top is where
the Cat's hat should go.
Next comes his forehead,
his nose, and his chin.
Don't forget to add
his big goofy grin.
Next, his eyes and his nose,
and long whiskers too.
Down to his bow tie,
Looking oh so new.
Now for his hat,
standing really tall.
Then add some stripes,
that's it, that's all!
