3rd Grade Moon Phases

Beehive Elementary 3rd Graders did a phenomenal job today on their moon phases piece. Their color choices on some were awesome to see.

1st Grade Turkeys

A few cute turkeys from 1st graders at Beehive Elementary.  This was a guided drawing colored with oil pastels.

5th Grade Notan Designs

The 5th Graders at Beehive did a great job on their Notan Design pieces. They were pretty proud of them. In two 45 minute classes, we made a small paper bag to hold all their pieces and finished their art piece. Here they are working and just about complete.
Here are some finished pieces.

4th Grade Deserts

4th Graders drew their own desert landscapes in black crayon with some guided drawing options. They then used the one finger rule and using drawing chalk, they added their color to the pieces.
They were very creative and willing to experiment with color. I think they turned out beautiful. Hence, so many pictures.

3rd Grade Verbs

3rd Graders at Valley Crest learned how to draw the shape of a body in motion. They all got a chance to be a model and the artist.
Looking at the angles and lines that a body makes in an action pose and using a verb to create a moving action across the page, they created these fun gesture drawings.
