Utah Animal Bobble Heads

Students will choose a Utah animal to turn into a clay bobble head including some of the adaptations that these animals may have that helps them survive our harsh climate.

Here is how we will make our bobble heads.

Liberty Mugs

Students will create a mug using slab techniques in clay.  They will add a quote from The US Constitution or Declaration of Independence to add to their mug and create a design to complement the quote.

Face Mugs

Artists will use tools appropriately as they create a pinch pot face mug.

To plan out our faces, we will use cut paper to create some shapes that we can build in the clay.
Picasso was a famous artist who made some crazy faces.
